App Store Conversion Analytics as a weekly habit
Not a dashboard religion. A short loop: name the traffic, change one listing asset, write the expected shift, then wait through Apple’s lag without rewriting history.
1. Keep the denominator visible
Conversion without impression source is theatre. Search, browse, and paid each deserve their own line in the weekly note, even when cells are suppressed.
2. Treat assets as grammar
Icon, preview, and the first three screenshots should read as a sentence about the job. Lifestyle frames can live later in the sequence if they must live at all.
3. Give every custom page a job
If a page cannot name the campaign or the returning-user story it serves, it is a clone. Clones muddy App Store Conversion Analytics more than they help UA.
4. Read reviews as clusters
Star averages hide crashes, price shock, and genuine workflow praise. Clusters tell you whether to reply, ship, or leave the storefront alone.
5. Label the uncertainty
Privacy thresholds and reporting delay are part of the craft. A brief that admits a thin sample is more usable in GB stakeholder packs than a smooth curve.
